Thrown in the sea she reached the ocean bed.
Fish ate her flesh, only her skeleton remained...
Movement came - no one knew where from.
Light travelled deep, reflecting on her bone.
There she was found - soaked and cold.
Was this the old prayer finally told?
The prayer made the currents move
And salt felt tougher on her wound.
Oh how it hurt! - Just for a while.
The currents carried her afar.
And pain was washed away with might
Day by day and night by night.
Carried afar under frothy waters
Meeting new creatures, escaping sorters
Befriending walruses and crustaceans
Somedays with trust and
Somenights with petulance
Until she found herself within a river
made from saltless tears, reflecting like a mirror.
There all residues she let go away
freeing herself from her heavy weight.
And here you witness as she rose
Out of the water
Refreshed, restored.
With glowing skin, strong hair, clear eyes,
a drumming heart and the gap between her thighs.
And all the blessings a woman needs
to shine and walk the way she lives.
